Those of us who were flying R/C airplanes about a quarter-century ago remember the famous Skylark 56 from Carl Goldberg. For many it was the natural progression from the ‘Trainer’ of the day, the Falcon 56 – which was a high winged semi-symmetrical airfoil. Some thought the Skylark was simply a Falcon 56 flipped upside down – oh those debates were lively. Well Carl Goldberg Models hasn’t forgotten those ‘good ole days’ and has released a 70” wingspan version of the Skylark era. Jerry Festa finds that things are just bigger these days!
